Travel Physical Therapist Job
Travel Physical Therapist in Lamar, Colorado. This full-time PT position supports inpatient and outpatient services within a hospital/critical access setting. Start date May 11, 2026, for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,752 to $2,894, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Evaluate, consult with, and treat patients across pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations according to the Plan of Care
- Progress patients toward prior function or Maximum Medical Improvement; reassess as required by policy
- Document patient care, including progress notes and reports; maintain thorough patient records
- Supervise and instruct professional staff, supportive staff, volunteers, and students within the physical therapy area
- Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Department Manager and care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education and counseling related to therapy plans and exercises
- Deliver care in multiple settings (inpatient and outpatient) and adjust to changing patient needs
Requirements
- Active Colorado licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Earned degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings and supervise PTAs and other staff as needed
- Availability for a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), typically Monday–Friday with occasional weekend coverage
- Eligibility to participate in a 13-week travel assignment based in Lamar, CO
