Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room during surgical procedures, coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists while maintaining patient safety and aseptic technique
- Prepare patients for surgery, including appropriate positioning and assessment
- Perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care planning in line with department criteria
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials and document pertinent information in the facility’s information systems (EPIC)
- Demonstrate knowledge of life safety, equipment management, and environment of care principles as applicable to the surgical setting

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- OR circulating experience required; two years of recent OR experience recommended
- EPIC experience required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Eligibility to work in the listed location; flexibility to cover a 4x10 schedule with potential call shifts (1–2 nights per week) and one weekend per month
