Travel Registered Nurse Stepdown Job
Registered Nurse, Stepdown travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. Start date September 21, 2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,126 to $2,271 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour shifts. Setting: hospital-based IMCU/step-down unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for step-down/IMCU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and rhythm strips; respond to rhythm changes promptly
- Administer medications, including auto med dispensing, and manage care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, unit charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with ventilator and tracheostomy care as needed; support patients with neuro and cardiology needs
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and timely escalation of concerns
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year IMCU experience plus 2+ years recent medsurg and telemetry experience; neuro care, MIs, and trachs required
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; telemetry test on day 1
- Able to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting
- Travel-eligible for a 16-week assignment
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN license
