Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
ER Registered Nurse (Travel) – Emergency Department, Randolph, Vermont. This travel assignment starts August 17, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,989 to $2,084 per week, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 12x3 rotation in a hospital ED setting. This position requires an experienced RN with ED/ER background and current Vermont licensure.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ED, including rapid physical assessments, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring for multiple acuity levels
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with emergency procedures under physician supervision
- Collaborate with physicians, APs, PAs, and support staff to coordinate efficient patient flow and care transitions
- Document assessments, treatments, and responses to interventions accurately in the medical record
- Monitor patient safety, infection control, and pain management; provide patient and family education as appropriate
- Respond to emergencies and adapt to rapid changes in patient condition while adhering to ED protocols and ratios
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Vermont
- Minimum 2 years ED/ER experience
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications; ENPC, TNCC, and/or CEN are preferred but not required
- ER patient-to-nurse ratio typically 1:3 to 1:5
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to operate effectively in a high-volume ED setting
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
