Registered Nurse - PCU/IMCU

Weekly pay: $3,028–$3,192 per week
Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
Setting: Hospital-based high-acuity IMCU/PCU unit

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults (18+) in an IMCU/PCU setting, including patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative conditions
- Monitor patient status, interpret assessments, administer medications, and respond to rapidly changing conditions
- Operate specialty equipment as needed (temporary pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP; assist with chronic vents alongside respiratory therapy)
- Document care in the EMR (EPIC) and contribute to care planning, coordination with the multidisciplinary team, and discharge planning
- Float to adjacent units as required to meet patient and unit needs; follow unit-specific protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys license verification required; all RN licenses must be active
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC EMR experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU and travel experience documented
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at submission
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Education: graduation from an approved nursing program and eligibility for RN licensure in New York
- Ability to work in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU setting with floating across units as needed
