Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging on Siemens CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine exams across neonate to geriatric patients.
- Prepare and position patients, verify orders, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and ALARA principles; manage patient care during imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to deliver timely, high-quality studies; ensure proper labeling, documentation, and archiving of images.
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic troubleshooting, and report service needs; uphold infection control and patient safety standards.
- Adapt imaging protocols to diverse patient needs and clinical indications, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Requirements
- ARRT-CT certification (or eligible) and BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a specialty CT within a trauma center environment
- Ability to work 10-hour nights on a Sun-Wed schedule; travel assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles
- Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners and familiarity with trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine exams
- Comfort working with a wide age range of patients (neonate to geriatric) in a high-acuity setting
