Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Administers medications and treatments, monitors patient responses, and documents care in the medical record.
- Assesses patient status, responds to emergencies, and escalates issues to the appropriate clinical team.
- Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to plan and implement patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintains a safe, patient-centered environment and adheres to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- Ability to provide nursing care in an ER setting
