Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across assigned modalities (e.g., abdomen, pelvis, obstetric, small parts, and vascular) with attention to image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, position patients appropriately, apply ultrasound gel, and adjust equipment to optimize images.
- Acquire, analyze, and document ultrasound findings; communicate results to radiologists or physicians according to protocol.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, follow safety standards, ensure room readiness, and adhere to infection control and QA procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient data and exam documentation; support scheduling workflows and ensure timely exam turnaround.
- Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure appropriate exam protocols and high-quality patient care.

Requirements
- Active licensure/credentialing as required for ultrasound practice in Georgia and by the employing facility; non-local candidate consideration per job notes.
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (e.g., ARDMS/ARRT) or equivalent per facility standards (as applicable).
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field from an accredited program.
- Relevant ultrasound experience and proficiency with general ultrasound imaging; comfort working in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work a travel assignment: 12 weeks, with guaranteed hours, in a hospital environment.
- Must meet credentialing/background requirements as required by the employer.
