Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments following documented protocols and physician orders
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and report changes promptly to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide comfort, bathing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Perform wound care and dressing changes as delegated, and document care accurately
- Maintain clear and complete documentation in the medical record and ensure patient safety at all times
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current licensure to practice in New Mexico
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and adapt to a travel assignment
- Willingness to perform 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule as assigned
- Basic documentation skills and comfort with charting and medication administration
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred but not required
