This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The role is a temporary, contract-based placement designed for a PTA providing patient care under supervision within an LTAC-oriented skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed PT, following established treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities including gait training, therapeutic exercises, range of motion, strengthening, and endurance programs.
- Monitor patient progress, document responses, and communicate changes to the PT and care team.
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers, assistive devices, and safety precautions to support mobility and daily activities.
- Participate in discharge planning and progress updates to support goals and length of stay considerations.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in the United States (state-specific requirements applicable).
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Experience in long-term acute care (LTAC) or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a dynamic LTAC/SNF environment.
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment in Kennebunk, ME and to the specified shift schedule.
