CT Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Starting May 25, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with a 3x12-hour day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,959 to $2,058. Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients, assess contraindications, monitor for adverse reactions during contrast administration as needed.
- Operate multi-slice CT scanners, adjust technique and parameters to optimize image quality while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Verify patient identity, verify orders, document procedures, and ensure images are properly labeled and transferred for interpretation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians; assist in emergent imaging scenarios and provide patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine quality checks, and report any technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license and ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT); or ARRT credentials as R and CT as applicable in California.
- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Fluoroscopy license preferred in California; Venipuncture certification preferred.
- Experience with CT imaging and radiology workflows preferred.
- Ability to work a 13-week travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting; ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
