Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Key Highlights

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in the long-term care setting under supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects per policy and procedure
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and document findings in the resident’s chart
- Perform wound care, assist with injections and routine procedures as trained
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; promote safety, fall prevention, and dignity
- Communicate changes in status to the supervising nurse and contribute to care planning and shift handoffs
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma)
- Relevant experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet travel assignment requirements
- Compentent in charting and basic clinical skills in a geriatric setting
- Current eligibility to work in the United States
