Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams (X-ray) across the radiology unit, including general and specialty studies
- Operate imaging equipment (including fluoroscopy and C-arm) and ensure optimal image quality
- Maintain patient safety, radiation protection, and adherence to ALARA principles
- Position patients, select exposure factors, and adjust technique to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Complete documentation and communicate findings to the radiologist per protocol using the EPIC Radiant system
- Collaborate with radiology staff and teaching facility team; participate in routine workflow and coverage as assigned
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience; 2 years in the specialty area, with fluoro and C-arm experience preferred
- EPIC Radiant experience within the past 2 years is required
- Teaching facility experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting, including day shifts and occasional weekend coverage
- Must maintain flexibility to float within the radiology unit as needed
