Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Templeton, CA. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift (1900–0730), 36 hours per week across 3x12-hour shifts, with no on-call requirements. Work in a short-term acute care setting using an LDRP model. Admin fee is already deducted from the rate. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate obstetric nursing care to labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, manage contractions, and administer medications per orders
- Assist with labor, delivery (including cesarean births when required), and postpartum recovery
- Document assessments and interventions; respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and neonatology; uphold infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (within the last 3 months in the submitted unit specialty)
- Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting
