CT Technologist - Radiology, with CT specialty, in Glens Falls, New York. Start date 07/30/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range $2,500 to $2,646 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment, applying prescribed CT techniques to support diagnostic evaluation.
- Position patients, select imaging protocols, adjust technique, and ensure high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Obtain intravenous access and administer contrast media as ordered, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT equipment (including GE scanners when applicable) with emphasis on radiation safety and quality assurance.
- Document procedures and findings in the EPIC EMR, communicate results to radiologists and clinical teams, and ensure appropriate follow-up for non-routine findings.
- Prioritize daily workflow, manage patient flow, and collaborate effectively with the radiology team to meet patient needs and department goals.
- Ensure readiness for shifts by reviewing orders, equipment readiness, and adhering to department policies and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license with ARRT CT certification; BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Minimum of 1 year CT/PET imaging experience; contrast injection experience required.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- GE CT scanner experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain IV access and perform CT imaging with high-quality results.
- Onboarding/training requirements: completion of Verbal De-escalation or CPI/PMCS training; 14-panel drug screen to be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be uploaded with profile upfront.
- Traveler must have own vehicle; ability to travel to assignment locations and work a 4x10 schedule.
- COVID vaccination strongly encouraged, but not required; please note status in profile.
- RTO (time off) requests must be noted at profile upload; no more than 5 days preferred.
- Compliance and profile readiness: current address matching license, and profile updated with required licenses/certifications and references.
