Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound specialty. Location: Granby, Colorado. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,265–$2,443 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. Shift: Day shifts – Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, Saturday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Setting: Rural Critical Access Hospital with Level IV trauma center, two clinics, two ORs, and a 24-hour ED on-site.

Responsibilities
- Perform two-dimensional ultrasound imaging of internal organs and echocardiography as requested, documenting findings for interpretation.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain safety consent, and position patients for optimal imaging; monitor patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjust settings for image quality, and ensure appropriate infection control and equipment safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the broader care team; communicate results promptly and assist with additional imaging as needed.
- Maintain efficient department workflow and patient throughputs, coordinating exams to support timely diagnoses.
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of studies, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts in the imaging department.

Requirements
- General ultrasound and echocardiography (Echo) imaging experience
- Current ARDMS/AART registry and NBE certification
- Ability to work in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate the shift schedule and location
- Must be able to meet credentialing requirements for a temporary travel assignment
