Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging and general radiography in a hospital-based radiology department; multi-modality technologist rotating CT and X-ray duties
- Operate multi-detector CT scanners, select appropriate protocols, and adjust technical factors to achieve diagnostic-quality images
- Obtain conventional radiographs as assigned, ensuring accurate patient positioning, shielding, and safety
- Review and process images; document studies in Epic per department standards; communicate findings to radiologists as required
- Rotate between day and evening shifts with occasional night coverage; weekends required at minimum every other weekend; schedules may be adjusted to meet patient care needs
- Maintain equipment readiness, adhere to radiation safety principles, and report any equipment issues; Philips CT experience is preferred
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification (verification required)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years radiology experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- Philips CT experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital-based radiology department in Middlebury, VT
