Registered Nurse – Cardiac in Saint Helena, California, travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for a 13-week duration. Weekly pay ranges from $2,434 to $2,556 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to cardiac patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, interpret data (including hemodynamics), and adjust care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse effects, and manage invasive lines and devices per policy.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case management, and other disciplines; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff on the unit, delegate tasks appropriately, and promote a safe, healing environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in acute cardiac care or a closely related field
- Balloon pump/open heart recovery experience required
- BSN degree preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced cardiac care environment
