Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions.
- Create images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess heart function and support diagnoses.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, conducting technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings, and reporting them to cardiology colleagues.
- Maintain image quality and adhere to safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
- Document findings and communicate results to the cardiology team to support patient care planning.
- Prepare and position patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure proper procedure workflow in a home healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Experience performing echocardiography or related ultrasound imaging is preferred.
- Ability to perform and optimize cardiac ultrasound examinations and to report findings clearly.
- Comfortable collaborating with cardiology staff and integrating findings into care plans.
- Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice environment.
- Availability for a 12-hour day shift schedule, 3 days per week.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
