Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Assess and monitor patient status; administer medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed; document care accurately.
- Triage, prioritize, and manage patient flow in a busy ER environment; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education as appropriate; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license (ER) required
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States
