Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including potential overflow oncology cases, in a fast-paced unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and respond to changes in clinical status.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and contribute to care planning and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC; ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Promote patient and family education, safety, and infection control, and assist with procedures as needed.
- Prepare patients for transfer or discharge and support continuity of care across shifts.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia and ability to work in a hospital medical-surgical setting.
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience; familiarity with a general Med-Surg population and overflow oncology is common in this assignment.
- EPIC EMR experience is required for this role; no RTO during the assignment.
- Nursys license verification required; candidate profile must include Certification Card and other references as requested.
- Candidate profile must include: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, and references; load all demographic information into the profile.
