Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) needed for a travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont. Start date: 08/10/2026 for a 4-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,871–$2,032 per week. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts. This is a hospital-based Respiratory Therapy Unit assignment with 24/7 RT support and collaboration with pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalists. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients per physician orders, including airway management and therapies.
- Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation using Hamilton C3/T1 systems; implement NIV with V60 NIV, Airvo 2, HFNC, and Bubble CPAP; adjust settings under physician direction.
- Deliver RT-driven protocols for bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance, NIV, and weaning in collaboration with critical care teams.
- Perform external transports for adult critical care patients and participate in unit-based patient care activities; document care in the EHR (EPIC).
- Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalist teams; participate in staffing/coverage needs including weekend and rotation requirements.
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control practices; participate in ongoing unit training as required.

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license on file at submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC verification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory care experience; neonate/pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience strongly preferred
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts; availability for every-other weekend and shift adjustments as needed
- Must be able to participate in external transports and follow unit/physician protocols
