Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Registered Nurse - PACU (travel) is available in Clarkston, WA. This full travel assignment starts July 27, 2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide PACU and perioperative nursing care, with the ability to float to Outpatient Services areas such as Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic.
- Monitor patients post-anesthesia, perform nursing assessments, and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications; respond with appropriate interventions.
- Administer perioperative medications and manage conscious sedation for selected procedures according to protocol and physician orders.
- Deliver perioperative education to patients and families; coordinate care with surgical and perioperative teams.
- Document care accurately in the medical record; ensure adherence to infection control practices and facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with the care team and participate in the shared on-call rotation as scheduled.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Washington
- Strong GI/endoscopy skills or relevant perioperative experience
- Ability to float to Outpatient Services areas as needed
- Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation
- Effective teamwork and adaptability to a travel assignment environment
