Travel Registered Nurse LTAC Job
Registered Nurse – LTAC, Cordova, Alaska, United States. Start date: April 13, 2026. Travel - temporary assignment for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,441–$2,584 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3×12-hour night shifts. Setting: hospital-based long-term acute care/medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for LTAC/Med-Surg patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions; manage IV therapy as needed
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, monitor vitals, labs, intake/output, wound care, and dressing changes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document accurately in the medical record; ensure infection control practices and patient/family education
Requirements
- Active, current Alaska Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Med-Surg experience required; LTAC or long-term acute care setting experience preferred
- Ability to work the night shift (12-hour nights) on a travel assignment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to begin on the stated start date
