Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor resident responses, documenting changes per physician orders and facility protocols.
- Perform nursing tasks within scope of practice for LTAC, including vital signs, wound care, injections, and routine assessments.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and comfort measures; promote safety, mobility, hygiene, and dignity.
- Collaborate with RNs and other members of the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.
- Respond promptly to call lights, assess needs, escalate changes to the supervising RN, and participate in emergent procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; uphold privacy, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and perform standard LTC nursing duties.
- Availability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule (12-hour day shifts).
- Willingness to start on 09/01/2026 and commit to a 10-week assignment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document clearly and collaborate with the care team.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and pass standard employment screenings as required.
