Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Roswell, New Mexico. This travel, temporary assignment begins 09/28/2026 and runs for several weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,022 to $2,122 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights on a 3x12-hour schedule. Work setting: hospital-based LDRP unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) employing a couplet care model to care for laboring patients, mothers, and newborns.

Responsibilities
- Provide labor care and support for vaginal deliveries; assist with C-section recovery
- Postpartum/couplet care and triage; manage newborn assessment and monitoring
- Manage newborn thermoregulation, phototherapy needs, and newborn hypoglycemia monitoring
- Provide breastfeeding and lactation support to new families
- Ensure infant identification and safety; support maternal-infant bonding and episiotomy/incisional care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, rapid response)
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or Compact) to be obtained prior to start
- BLS and NRP certifications; STABLE certification
- Minimum 1 year L&D experience; 3:1 patient ratio experience; charge experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Unit-specific orientation provided; ability to float to like units within scope as needed
- Ability to work Nights and comply with every-other-weekend scheduling as outlined in the contract
