Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) is available for a 13-week assignment in Concord, New Hampshire. Start date is 09/14/2026 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. This 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a high-acuity Med Surg floor may involve patient populations with COPD, pneumonia, CHF, DKA, diabetes, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax. The role is a travel - temporary assignment within a hospital setting, staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Travelers may be asked to float to affiliated regional campuses as needed. Local candidates within roughly 50 miles are considered at local rate.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for high-acuity medical-surgical patients, including COPD, pneumonia, CHF, DKA, diabetes type 1 and 2, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax management
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assist with procedures as needed
- Care for patients with advanced respiratory support (trachs, vents, BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula) and Telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans, document progress, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain infection control, safety standards, and accurate charting; ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
- May float to affiliated regional campuses as required to meet unit needs

Requirements
- Active RN license in NH or a Compact state at time of submission; NURSYS license verification required
- BLS certification required; NHISS verification needed prior to start; ACLS preferred
- 1–2 years of Med Surg experience; high-acuity or step-down experience considered
- Education: graduation from an approved nursing program and active RN credential
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a Med Surg floor and to float to nearby campuses if needed
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics; RTO (time off) request must be included at submission
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner). Clinical skills checklist and travel experience documentation required
