Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using complex equipment.
- Operate radiography equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized imaging studies.
- Provide efficient clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience in cardiac and vascular radiography or interventional radiology settings.
- Proficiency in operating digital radiography equipment and interventional imaging systems.
- Ability to position patients for advanced examinations and provide clear patient instructions.
- Strong clinical care delivery with technical proficiency, organization, and critical thinking; ability to collaborate in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift on a travel assignment in a clinical setting.
