Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, patient-centered nursing care to ICU patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and provide ventilator management and hemodynamic support as indicated
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Uphold patient and family-centered care, safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and families; participate in care planning and resource coordination
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Graduation from an approved registered nursing program
- Experience or demonstrated competency in ICU/critical care settings; ICU/critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night schedule and adapt to travel assignment requirements
- Knowledge of Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, as referenced in the practice framework
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
