Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under fluoroscopic guidance, including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and IVC filter placement/removal
- Manage vascular access and interventions such as central venous access/ports and dialysis graft procedures
- Provide procedural support: sterile technique, patient positioning, room preparation, fluoroscopy usage, ultrasound guidance, PACS workflow, and sterile equipment handling
- Operate as both scrub and circulator; assist with biopsies, drainage procedures, nephrostomies, gastrostomy, and cholecystostomy as needed
- Monitor and document patient status during procedures; ensure patient safety and adherence to aseptic technique
- Charting in Epic; maintain accurate procedure notes and relevant documentation; support department operations and respond to equipment needs
- Work independently within a small team; collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to maintain efficient department flow
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
- State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Interventional Radiology experience on a single-plane Siemens suite is REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years IR experience preferred; travel experience required
- Epic experience for charting required
- Strong ability to work independently in a small, high-functioning team environment
- Onsite orientation and compliance requirements to be completed within specified timelines
