Registered Nurse – Infusion in Utica, New York. This travel - temporary assignment starts 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks in an outpatient infusion unit within a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours are 40 per week, with a schedule of 8-hour day shifts, five days per week. The position is located in an outpatient infusion unit and involves chemotherapy administration in a hospital environment. This assignment is designed for travel healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies to adult and geriatric patients in the outpatient infusion unit.
- Monitor patients during infusion, recognize and respond to adverse reactions, and manage IV access and safety protocols.
- Document care and medication administration in the electronic health record (EPIC); verify orders and dosing; maintain compliance with safe medication practices.
- Operate infusion and related equipment (e.g., Alaris pumps, elastomeric pumps); manage pumps and monitoring devices; perform routine equipment checks.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other care team members to ensure appropriate patient care, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Provide blood product administration as required and maintain composure in a fast-paced infusion setting.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion
- BLS and ACLS certifications; chemotherapy certification required
- Chemo-certified and experienced in outpatient oncology/nuer infusion therapies
- Proficiency with EPIC; familiarity with Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers; ability to operate Alaris and elastomeric pumps
- Ability to work in an outpatient infusion unit, manage blood product administration, and function in a fast-paced environment
- Education: graduate of an approved nursing program; RN degree required
