Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – ER, Reedley, CA. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Critical Access Hospital. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care in the Emergency Department for an assigned patient group, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess needs, determine diagnoses, and develop care plans; implement interventions and coordinate care with the treatment team.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure a safe, healing environment; provide patient and family education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, supervise/coordinate activities of various nursing staff as appropriate, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Document care activities in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure accurate handoffs during shift changes; uphold patient safety and infection control practices.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER/acute care experience (required)
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; Basic Life Support from approved vendor per policy required
- Additional certifications: ACLS (AHA or ARC) and PALS (AHA or ARC) required
- Credentialing: Must have EPIC experience
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting, demonstrate critical thinking, and collaborate effectively with a diverse care team
