Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - ER is available for a travel, temporary assignment starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. This role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $1,961 to $2,075, on a night shift schedule (3 x 12s, typically 18:00–06:30). The assignment takes place in a rural, acute-care-type setting and requires eligibility to work in the U.S. as a travel clinician. This position emphasizes ER/ICU care with potential floating as needed and EPIC electronic health record experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting to the ER with a broad range of conditions; respond to acute changes in patient status
- Administer medications, start IV lines, monitor hemodynamics, and interpret clinical data
- Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and the broader care team to develop and modify patient care plans
- Perform appropriate documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure accurate, timely communication of patient status
- Provide patient and family education about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Assist with patient transfers and coordinate withEMS as needed; adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of California
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Experience: At least one year of RN experience in the last 24 months with acute critical care experience in the last 12 months; OR EMT and ED Tech with at least 2 years of ED/trauma experience and in good standing
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER/ICU environment and to float to ED/ICU as needed
- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment; compliance with E-Verify and right-to-work notices
