CT Technologist – Radiology, CT specialty in Lodi, California. This travel assignment is for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date is 09/21/2026 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is evenings on a 5x8 schedule. Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images; generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures as assigned, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiologist and ensure correct patient data and imaging orders.
- Maintain accurate patient records, files, and related billing information; ensure image data integrity and HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and calibration; monitor and manage supply inventory.
- Provide cross-modality support in X-ray and OR as needed, with CT proficiency as the primary requirement.
Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) and ARRT registration with CT credential (RT(R)(CT) or RT(R)); CT certification required.
- Advanced CT certification as applicable; Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials.
- EPIC experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent radiology/CT experience.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with adolescent through geriatric patient populations.
- Prior experience in a multi-modality environment (CT with X-ray and/or OR) is preferred.
