Responsibilities
- Provide the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the CCU.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care while maintaining standards of nursing practice.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond promptly to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with the health care team to promote coordinated, high-quality care and patient outcomes.
- Document care and maintain accurate, timely records in the patient chart.
Requirements
- This role is represented by CNA.
- Ability to work in a CCU environment with professional nursing judgment and patient-centered focus.
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across disciplines.
- Commitment to meeting established Standards of Nursing Practice and contributing to patient safety and quality improvement.
