Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Monitor vital signs, observe residents, identify changes in condition, and document findings promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and state regulations.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to implement and update care plans; communicate changes to the RN and other colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the appropriate charting system; report concerns to the care team.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
- Ability to perform nursing duties in a long-term care setting.
- Availability for a 9-week travel assignment and to work the listed 3x12-hour shifts.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States; meet employer guidelines for travel assignments.
