Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Travel Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Evening Shifts in Brentwood, NH.

As a Travel CNA in our long-term care setting, you will deliver high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing facility environment. You will work alongside a supportive care team to assist residents with daily living, maintain safety and comfort, and ensure care plans are followed accurately.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Resident Daily Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility transfers.

• Vital Signs & Monitoring: Measure and accurately record vital signs, daily intake/output, and report any physical or behavioral changes promptly to the RN/LPN team.

• Care Plan Execution: Support individual resident care plans, routine procedures, and preparation for therapies or activities.

• Medication & Procedure Support: Assist with medication administration processes under direct nursing supervision and facility protocols.

• Documentation: Perform accurate, timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation according to facility standards.

• Environment & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate environment while upholding infection control guidelines and resident rights.

• Resident Support: Provide compassionate emotional support and clear communication to residents and visiting families.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• CNA Program: Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program with competency evaluation.

• Licensure: Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (or active compact/reciprocal eligibility).

• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

• Skills: Strong observational abilities, effective communication skills, and a team-player attitude in fast-paced long-term care environments.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.

• Hands-on experience with EMR documentation and routine vital monitoring.

• Proven track record collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Preferred (Plus):

• Experience with wound care procedures or fall prevention protocol implementation.

• Strong working knowledge of standard infection control practices.

• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish or other languages).
