Registered Nurse - Med Surg, Atlanta, GA, United States (Travel) — 13-week travel assignment beginning 09/08/2026. Weekly pay ranges from $1,616 to $1,706, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift schedule is 2x3 days. Setting is a hospital-based Med/Surg unit on a dedicated education unit where travel nurses will care for Med/Surg patients (educational duties are not required). This role is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg patients on day shifts, following care plans and protocols
- Monitor and document vital signs, assessment findings, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and basic therapies in accordance with physician orders; manage IV therapies as indicated
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
- Respond promptly to patient needs, participate in rounds, and ensure patient and family comfort and safety within the unit

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience; experience in a level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital setting preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of approximately 5–6:1
- Must be able to work a day shift on a 2x3 schedule in a travel assignment
- No stated visa or locale restrictions beyond the job location; must meet assignment eligibility per client and agency policies
