Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Oncology (Nights) in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. This travel assignment is slated to begin 10/05/2026 for Weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,860–$1,959 and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. The role is on a CHNE 4 Medical-Oncology unit (28 beds) within an acute care setting, requiring EPIC charting and serving adult medical-surgical and oncology patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical and oncology patients on CHNE 4.
- Monitor patient status with telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to acute changes as part of the rapid response/code teams.
- Administer medications, monitor chemotherapy-related care, manage ports, initiate and maintain IV therapy, and utilize PCA where indicated.
- Document thoroughly in EPIC; ensure accurate charting, medication reconciliation, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assist with discharge planning, patient and family education, and participate in care planning within scope of practice.
- Float within the unit/service line as needed to support patient care and safety.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri or eligible for licensure; pending license may be accepted per state guidelines—verify with candidate state.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
- EPIC experience required for unit functioning.
- Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS, Fire Safety. ACLS may be required for certain locations; verify prior to submittal.
- Key clinical skills: chemotherapy monitoring/administration, port access/management, IV start and maintenance, telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions/PPE, PCA experience.
- Ability to work in an acute care hospital environment; weekend coverage as described; able to float within scope as needed.
