Responsibilities
- Provide RN-led care for patients undergoing GI and pulmonary interventional procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy, ERCP, EBUS, and related interventions
- Assist with sedation, monitor patient status, manage vital signs, and respond to emergencies during procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, ensure sterile technique, and manage equipment and supplies for a range of GI and pulmonary procedures
- Monitor and document patient progress before, during, and after procedures; provide post-procedure recovery instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate safe, efficient patient care and throughput
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in call coverage as required and support holiday and shift staffing needs

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent, specialized GI Lab RN experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibility during the week and weekends
- Willingness to work the specified holiday requirements (two major holidays and one minor holiday)
- No local candidates within 50 miles the note indicates
