Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a range of complex equipment.
- Operate imaging systems to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies with attention to safety and comfort.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; contribute input on hiring and promotion decisions when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in a cath lab setting.
- Proficiency with digital imaging equipment and cardiovascular imaging systems.
- Ability to position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork; capability to mentor others.
- Eligibility to work in the United States; licensure and certification requirements as applicable to the role.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with day shifts on a 4x10 schedule.
