Responsibilities
- Deliver registered nursing care across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases in the IR service area
- Monitor patient status, monitor telemetry, and respond rapidly to clinical changes
- Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol; manage patient safety and comfort
- Assist radiology physicians and technologists with procedures; maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Document care in the electronic health record; communicate clearly with the care team and families as appropriate
- Recognize and respond to emergent situations, including codes, and participate in post-procedure recovery and discharge planning
- Coordinate with ancillary staff and support services to ensure timely, efficient patient flow; cover stress testing on weekends as needed (not on-call)

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- Demonstrated ability to pass Telemetry competency and related ECG/Telemetry assessments
- Ability to pass onboarding ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding (85% required; one attempt)
- Telemetry competency or proven ability to meet telemetry standards
- No floating to other units required
- Some weekend coverage for stress testing may be required; no on-call duties
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location (no local travelers)
