Overview
Travel Respiratory Therapist position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 09/03/2026 for 4 weeks on a nights schedule (3x12). Weekly pay range is $1,917 to $2,002. This is an inpatient hospital assignment requiring a current RRT credential on file, strong collaboration with the care team, and experience in teaching hospital environments.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to inpatients per physician orders, including assessment and ongoing management
- Manage airway support and ventilator therapy, including adjustments for adult, pediatric, NICU, and PICU populations as applicable
- Administer therapies (oxygen, aerosolized meds, chest physiotherapy, humidified gas) and perform airway clearance techniques
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and document findings in the EMR; participate in rounds and care coordination
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and inventory management; uphold infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Exhibit schedule flexibility to meet weekend coverage and unit needs; maintain professional communication and handoffs
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) on file at time of submission
- NBRC verification on file
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient respiratory therapy experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Must be RRT (CRT not accepted)
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting; weekends required; schedule flexibility
