Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date: September 14, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,103 to $2,265 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour shifts. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment at a hospital setting. This assignment requires a current RN license and ED clinical expertise, and supports travel-based clinicians with dedicated recruiter assistance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the ED using the nursing process across the patient continuum.
- Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay, monitoring status and documenting actions and responses.
- Administer IV medications and therapies, manage IV access, and support blood product administration as needed.
- Provide patient education to patients and families and participate in discharge planning and teaching.
- Collaborate with charge nurse and unit preceptors as needed to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing; licensure hits will not be considered.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience; at least 1 year of prior critical care nursing experience.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ED setting and to take on charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities if needed.
- Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the assignment location.
- Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid.
