Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional cath lab procedures, including vascular access and imaging, while maintaining sterile technique.
- Prepare the procedure room, scrub, and support physicians during interventions; monitor patient status and hemodynamics.
- Operate cath lab imaging equipment, manage contrast administration, and document procedures in the patient record.
- Monitor patient recovery and communicate findings to the care team; respond quickly to procedural needs and emergencies.
- Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies, perform routine turnover and post-procedure cleaning.
- Adhere to WA Radiology Tech requirements, ARRT standards, BLS and ACLS protocols, and facility policies; participate in call obligations as assigned.
Requirements
- WA Radiology Tech license
- ARRT certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts (0730-1800) with late-case coverage and on-call requirements
- Ability to float between departments as needed
- Capable of performing duties in a hospital interventional setting and complying with safety standards
