Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults in an orthopedic unit, including ortho trauma, total joint replacement, postoperative care, and management of surgical drains and peripheral nerve block catheters
- Monitor patient condition, administer prescribed medications, manage IVs and blood products, and interpret relevant values (e.g., dysrhythmias)
- Deliver respiratory support as needed (oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management) and support patients with pain control modalities (e.g., PCA, insulin as required)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Transport, Interpretation, Rapid Response) to support safe, timely patient progress
- Perform charting and documentation in the preferred system (Epic) and participate in care planning, discharge planning, and isolation/PPE protocols

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a State/Compact license in hand at submittal
- Ortho experience required; minimum 1 year RN experience
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Travel experience not required; accepts first-time travelers
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS (as listed)
- Unit-specific skills include orthopedic care, IV access, med administration, respiratory management, and general med/surg competencies; ability to work in an adult orthopedic unit

Education
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; education details not additional beyond standard RN requirements
