Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated emergency nursing care for patients in the ER, including triage, assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collect relevant data, interpret assessment findings, and determine care needs within the nursing process.
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of care, coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, imaging, and other disciplines as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor for effectiveness and adverse events; adjust care plans accordingly.
- Document care accurately in the patient record and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families, promote a safe and healing environment, and supervise and direct assigned nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (California) or eligible to practice in the state of assignment.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS required.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent RN experience in the field.
- General: Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; travel assignment readiness.
