Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Properly position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies.
- Deliver clinical care efficiently with a high level of technical and organizational skills, using critical thinking.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
Requirements
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) and ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or equivalent.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- Relevant experience in interventional radiology or a cardiovascular lab setting is preferred.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a radiology/interventional setting and adapt to a 4x10 rotating schedule.
