Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of outpatient physical therapy treatment programs to restore and improve physical function while aligning with department objectives.
- Deliver direct patient care across a diverse outpatient population, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional activities.
- Co-lead in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, coordinating care with colleagues across disciplines.
- Document examination findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in the electronic medical record; adjust plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, safety, and activity modification to support continued progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and facility policies.

Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure for the assignment.
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based outpatient setting and contribute to an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to educate patients and collaborate with families.
- Availability for a 10-hour shift across four days per week and commitment to a 13-week assignment starting 10/26/2026.
