Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for adults and geriatrics with mixed medical/surgical and telemetry needs.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, administer medications, manage IV therapy, wound care, drains, and post-operative care.
- Perform telemetry monitoring, recognize early signs of deterioration, and participate in rapid response or code events as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, phlebotomy, pharmacy, social services) to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Document thoroughly at the point of care in the electronic charting system, ensuring regulatory and hospital standards are met.
- Implement infection prevention, isolation precautions, and patient education for safe care transitions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a valid compact license in hand at submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Epic charting experience (hands-on preferred)
- Minimum/Preferred: 2 years of clinical RN experience; travel RN experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a Med Surg with telemetry setting; floating to other units if competencies are met
- Onboarding tasks (core items/labs) to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
